Egypt 1981. After a handsome G-Man disappears, Buster Lee and Lars LaGuardia are sent to Giza to investigate. Along the way, the boys (with Beck the miniature blue heeler) meet a beautiful young woman, a corrupt macaroni dealer and an odd lad from a good family. At the heart of the mystery are dozens of phony antiquities in the form of censers. Wander the catacombs beneath the Great Pyramid. Absorb the exotic scents and foods of Giza. Ride camels, paddle the mighty Nile River, see fez wearing monkeys and eat fresh dates from the market. Live life as it was meant to be lived in a land where life is cheap.
