Season 5 | Episode 44 | The Mysterious World of Buster Lee | Memorial Weekend
Travistock New Jersey Friday May 22 1981. Before Jane Fonda introduced aerobics, fencing was a thing, a large pizza with 4 pops, caesar salad, garlic bread, and a medium tiramisu cost seven-dollars and fifty-cents. Like millions of young people across the USA, Buster Lee and Lars LaGuardia ordered pizza, watched TV and spent the long weekend cocooned. That weekend it rained non-stop and a local cat burglar – wearing an unusual costume – broke into as many homes as he could. To complicate things, at 9:30 PM, the eastern seaboard was plunged into a blackout. They say what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.
