Travistock New Jersey 1983. After her old B-movies start playing on Friday nights on the new UHF channel, Joan Reynolds received a series of unsettling phone calls. Around this time, a strange teenager – Casey Bookman – arrives in the neighborhood. Mutt Keepnews shows love-struck Venture Falls how to use a BB-gun while Lars takes Joan on a relaxing hot-air balloon ride. Needing to chill out, Buster Lee and Beck travel up-state to visit musician Mason Grunwald. Can the three disparate stories resolve in the end? Over some takeaway Chinese Food, yes.
