Japan 1983. Curious to experience earthquake prone Japan, Buster Lee and Beck (the super-pooch) tag along as Lars LaGuardia travels east to see his Kabuki mentor Mr. Noh. In a small Japanese town, Buster Lee and Lars see robots make cars and meet their first pod of dolphins. When a culture war starts, Mutt Keepnews is brought in to sort things out.
